Giovanni Ziccardi (1969) is Professor of Legal Informatics at the University of Milan, and Founder and Director of the post-graduate Course in Computer Forensics and Digital Investigations.
Professor Ziccardi received his graduate degree (in Law) from the University of Modena and his Ph.D. in Legal Informatics from the University of Bologna.
Professor Ziccardi writes, inter alia, about digital dissidence and human rights (“Resistance, Liberation Technology and Human Rights in the Digital Age”, Springer, 2012), cyber law (“Cyber Law in Italy”, Kluwer, 2011), legal informatics (“L’avvocato hacker”, Giuffrè, 2013), hacking (“Hacker”, Marsilio) and thriller/fiction (“L’ultimo hacker”, Marsilio, 2012).
